In case anyone was curious, this is what the new one looks like...

To be clear... I MIGHT have deserved this one. Essentially, if you view the image fully (which you should be able to do by right-clicking and hitting "view image" as it's cropped here), you should be able to see that the thread was about "The Frost Mage Mantra" which only had one line in it akin to:
Every class will be balanced, Mages will just be more balanced.
... or something like that. I didn't even post in this thread (I think... don't quote me on that), but I DO remember finding out that there was a button in the upper-right-hand-corner that says "Nominate for Sticky". Curiosity, more than anything, got the better of me and I clicked it. Apparently, the mods were not amused by my antics.
I shall try less dickery next week.

Seriously blizzard, a 30 day ban for a first damn offense? Really? I mod other forums where we treat people who have been trolling for months better than that.

Hahha... well... never ever talk about how you're going to get banned for any post. That is bait for the mods.
It's easy to get discouraged about changes to the class you have loved for many years now, and post something that, had you simply gotten up and taken a walk around for a bit (maybe had a cup of coffee), you probably would have thought better of.
Since my perma-ban was lifted, I have tried my very best to do this and abstain in responding to trolls at all; even the most minor amount of trolling will get a reported post from me and an attempt to keep the thread on topic. Sadly, sometimes even the best intentions go to waste. I asked for a stick on, what I thought was, an obvious joke thread and ate a 24-hour ban.
Lesson-learned... joking is not permitted on the forums >_<

sad, but true.
i'm currently torn between dusting off my resto skill set and leveling a dk to keep playing melee in pvp.
it's clear feral is not meant to be competitive.
